1 WEEK OFF

0

It’s October 24. Monday. Extraordinarily, I just laid down on the mattress without any hurry to prepare to work. Last week, I’ve just finished my Medicine Posting examination. And for the first time since I’ve got into practical field, I gave myself a space to be “OFF” the cycle. Took my own holiday before getting into the most “disastrous” department P-E-D-I-A-T-R-I-C.

I ‘m getting so exited to enjoy it as the flights of ideas come across my mind. I want to go to my dream place Bissapu waterfall, I want to visit my KKN village in Jeneponto, or I want to go to the bay, watching the sunset and eating the good stuff or going to the most beautiful island... Wah..i want to chase the rainbow and collect the stars..feel the wind and hear the water to flow.. Heaven!! Just want to go out of here.. being free from my routine. But…

Wrong timing. My friends are all on the hectic mode. Thinking of spending times with my sweet sisters in islam, my juniors 09. But they’ve got an examination to settle at the end of the week. So I have to cancel my plan to go on trip with them. Gratefully, one of my sister, Aqilah invited me to accompany her to our favorite seafood restaurant at Losari Beach, Lae-Lae. Along with her smart circle group of 1st year juniors which means to be 4 years younger then me not really makes me felt weird.. yeah.. we enjoyed the evening by riding a musical boat while waiting the sun to set. Hanging out together create an exclusive dimension to know each other better.. they are all happening. After having our dinner at Lae-Lae, we drop by the ice-cream stalls and eat some ice-cream of various flavor before going home.

Aqilah didn’t talk much. Just observing her juniors and make sure that they’re in comfort and safe condition. She’d grown up fast. I remember the 1st time I met her when she was in her 1st year, she used to be very cute and like to ask those controversial questions. Unlike others, she’s not really used to have the birthday party. She can’t tolerate stupid things or childish games.. However, she’s the most fastest learner, she hold tight the knowledge she’d got and make it to apply them in her daily. time runs. She’s now in her 3rd year and manage to mentor the juniors.. Feeling very proud of Aqilah.

I remember once upon ago, I’d been in smart circle group with my friend. Spending our time to hang out together with our mentor, laughing, exploring new places, eating good foods.. just like them. In other time, we used to sit together and listen to our mentor’s tazkirah or the story of great men from the previous centuries. But now, we ourselves have to take the responsibilities to give the tazkirah, mentoring juniors to solve their problems and to be close to them. Guide them. Teach them. Just like how we’d been thought. Treat them well exactly how our mentor do it for us.. Aqilah too.. going through the process.. life is like a wheel. There’s a time, we’re accepting the knowledge and tarbiyah and in other time, we have to give it out to our juniors. Our sisters in Islam. That’s the bright circle.

We do this because we love our juniors as our seniors back there who love us.

Thanks my sisters for a cozy day ^_^
